Fed: PNG and Australia in annual talks
The Australian and Papua New Guinea governments hold their annual talkfest on the Gold
Coast today.
Foreign Minister ALEXANDER DOWNER heads the top level Australian delegation at the
Royal Pines Resort for the 17th Australia-PNG Ministerial Forum.
Defence Minister ROBERT HILL .. Attorney-General PHILIP RUDDOCK .. Immigration Minister
AMANDA VANSTONE .. and Transport Minister WARREN TRUSS are among those expected to attend.
They'll hold a day of wide-ranging talks with 11 PNG ministers .. headed by Foreign
Minister Sir RABBIE NAMALIU.
